A co-worker agreed, and then went on to say that J. Bulgers killers were disgusting sub-human monsters who should have been locked up and tortured. Nobody human would ever do such a thing, it is inconceivable! They are fundamentally evil and broken and should be beaten and whipped for the duration of their natural lives. I think the idea was deter other people from, er, choosing to be fundamentally evil and broken. I wonder who would be chosen to lock up and torture a pair of kids. Would they then also have to be tortured for agreeing to perform such disgusting sub-human acts, or is it different if it's your job? Are the government allowed to sanction professional child-torturers?
