I'm a Hermit. Hello. Posts: 1,559 Group: Members Member #101 Joined: December 15, 2006	DragonForce are playing in Cambridge in December and I am going to see them. I love Dream Theater and I think these guys are a bit similar. Am I going to enjoy myself? Well, I will be drunk so yes.

I'm a Hermit. Hello. Posts: 1,559 Group: Members Member #101 Joined: December 15, 2006	So I went to this gig last night with my friend and his stepson, who was the one that wanted to go. Dragonforce were all right I suppose. They were super energetic and leapt all over the place but the music was too upbeat and samey. The best bit of the night by far was one of the support bands 'Sabaton' who were dreadful. They basically played pop music but tried to look like a metal band. The lead singer wore this metal breastplate thing which was stitched onto a black t-shirt. They were Swedish or something. blurry camera phone pics I drank about a gallon of piss lager and then accidentally rang an ex girlfriend who I spoke to at length but I have no memory of what was said. Overall good night. Would do again apart from the rubb bands.

In Birmingham. although i suppose circle jigging in the mosh pit to a folk metal band was quite fun. they were a bit conspicuos compared to the rest on the bill.
