Basically it's an online strategy game thing built by Chinese gold farmers out of loads of stolen intellectual property. It's marketed (by mass spamming of the internet) as a free game, but in practise you have to buy items from the game to do anything at all. For instance, upgrading a building past a certain point costs 50 cents. You can buy game cents at an exchange rate of 10 to 1, so that's actually 5 real life dollars. When you have set up a town in the game, the first thing to do is to raid one of the thousands of abandoned towns left by disgruntled players who gave up after an hour or so.
