Did anyone else see this last night? It was excellent. Sort of like a Peep Show type thing only less cringey. But I might have only thought that because it's got the American girl out of Peep Show in it. It's about a couple of New Zealish mans in living in New York trying to crack the music scene. Also they sing songs.

Excellent.

Hooray, yes, it is my favourite thing in ages. The series gets better as it goes along too - possibly not actually increasing in quality but in a "it gets funnier as you get to know the characters" way. If that makes any sense at all.
The episode with David Bowie is best.

The best thing is the songs, especially since I didn't know what to expect from the show so I didn't know they were going to sing and it was a complete surprise when they first did. I keep wanting to look up all their other songs on youtube but I'm worried it'll spoil the rest of the series.

The second best thing was that I had assumed it was set in England and I couldn't work out why all their friends were American until I mentioned this to my flatmate and he pointed out that perhaps it was because they were in New York.

I used to correct people when they got comedy things wrong, but eventually I realised it was incredibly tedious and died.

Reciting comedy is probably not a Brilant life choice in the first place.

Let us remember the parable of Speednik, chapter 4 verse 14.

You can't recite slapstick, Daren.

Worst thing in the world is people who quote Alan Partidge so much that they basically become him. I think we all know one.

I will have to check this out, subsequently love it and tell my friends about it only for them to ignore me and watch in a year then excitedly tell me about it so I can ignore them.
