Excellent.
I played Bubsy for many hours myself, and there is actually a higher place you can get to in level 2.

Can I add a huge colony of naked mole rats in tanks and tubes and you can see into it and see them scuttling around like the horrors they are. I saw that once and it was brilant. They would worship freyja as their one true queen.

I don't think it's really fair to ban wasps from a zoo

You should ban wasps but not bees, but it would be hard to sort them, so you would have to force them each to go through a piece of cardboard with different sized holes in them, one bee-sized and one wasp-sized, and all the wasps that fly into the wasp-sized hole get funnelled into a cannon and get shot into space.

The drawback is that the wasps could simply fly into the bee hole and their nefarious plans could continue.

I haven't quite thought this through but bear with me.

Okay, the bee hole would have "NO WASPS" printed over it in enormous glowing letters, that should do it.

Or there would only be one hole, but inside the hole would be a weight-sensitive plate. If a bee lands on it, the weight would force some kind of cantilever and cog mechanism to open a portal to the zoo, but if the weight is not sufficient (due to wasp's lighter bodyweight) then some kind of killer gas would flood the chamber.

The only problem is if the wasps team up and enter the chamber in pairs, thus offering enough weight to pass through unharmed.

Perhaps some kind of guardian witch would improve matters.

The zoo's first breeding programme would be to selectively breed anteaters in order to create a new species, the waspeater.

Oh god. I've recently been forced at work to sit opposite my boss's boss, and today he sent out a complaint to all the bosses about how all members of staff MENTIONING NO NAMES should be at their desks by 9.30am every day. Due to rubbish timetabled trains I always get in a minute or two after 9.30, and I think this could all be an elaborate, passive aggressive way of telling me I should instead get a train that gets me into work about 20 minutes early rather than steal 60 SECONDS from my employer.

I'm probably going to cave in, despite this is all probably in my head.

Hahaha

It begins
I just bought a bag of the new Starburst, and I definity have mixed impressions - the blackcurrant are far nicer now (not difficult) and the orange taste more like oranges. The lemon-lime have gone downhill, completing Masterfoods' hatchet job on them, and the strawberry are about the same. Not the total disaster suggested, at least.

I may go in early for a week or so then revert to my thieving ways. Hopefully it's just temporary management madness, caused by somebody else being late, but I really can't think who.

This...isn't going to get any better, is it.

If you're not posting on Twitter EXACTLY AT 9:30 on the DOT then you've missed your chance.

I went to Whipsnade zoo on tuesday and they had wabalies just walking around ON THE PATHS which makes it Best Zoo.

They also had a Red Panda but he was sleepy. The keeper brought him some food but it was some rubbish looking leafy stuff and not strawberries so no doubt soon he will revert to a normal panda stupid keeper.

I have a day off today, thank fuck. I intend to spend the day a) eating hugely expensive £2.60 'artisan' loaf, b) beer festival at earls court.

the ideal zoo would just be a nice park load of otters playing madly in a man-made river all around an island full of meerkats. in the middle of the island is a cage containing Freyja, who shrieks interminably about how parks are mankind's worst invention and "a pathetic kind of fake countryside". occasionally she would hurl the contents of her mooncup at passers by.
I haven't decided where zoos fall in my hatred of fake countryside. Theyre probably ok, due to animals.
Le sigh
